Victoria Hayfron-Benjamin

Victoria is a licensed Real Estate Agent, REALTOR®, in Canada where she takes pride in serving and giving back to her community. She served as the Director of Sales for Carifika Canada, a national non-profit organization with the aim of bringing visibility to African and Caribbean people living in Canada. Victoria was brought up in a Ghanaian household where education was important and taught to be very powerful. After graduating from Wesley Girls' High School in Cape Coast, Victoria migrated to Canada to pursue her Education at Carleton University and then furthered her education with the Real Estate Council of Alberta. She founded The Victoria Foundation in 2021 with the vision of helping to transform and empower communities through Education. She strongly believes transmission of knowledge must be applied in all acts of kindness.

Assistant Organizer

Elsie Korkor Addai Ashong

Elsie earned a bachelor's degree in information studies & archaeology from the University of Ghana, Legon. She strives for excellence by combining diligence, self-motivation, critical thinking, and observation. Her love for helping others drove her to compete in the Miss Philanthropy Ghana pageant in 2022 and the Face of Legon 2021 pageant. She was named Miss Elegance for the Face of Legon in 2021 and the reigning queen for Miss Philanthropy Ghana in 2022. Thanks to her dedication and hard work, she was named the Expo Awards' 2022 Beauty Queen. The Ghana Business and Entrepreneur Summits and Awards recognized her as the Beauty Queen in Philanthropy in August 2023. She was also honored the Iconic Queen 2023 title at the Accra Music and fashion Awards. Her passion for humanity has led her to participate in numerous charitable endeavors.

Jedidah A.N. Biney

Jedidah is an ambitious communicator with a B.A in Communication from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) now University of Media, Arts and Communication (UNIMAC). She seeks the best through hard work combined with self motivation, observation, and critical thinking.Her passion and desire to help society led her to contest for Miss Malaika Ghana in the Year 2015. Her hardwork and perseverance contributed to her becoming a finalist in the pageant where she was presented with a platform to touch lives.In 2020, she joined the Ghana Food and Drugs Authority to contribute to the safety of the public as a civil servant, helping humanity with the knowledge she has acquired. Jedidah believes that the greatness of a nation lies in the hands of its citizens and for that reason she’ll keep pushing till Ghana is great.

Human Resources Manager

Kelvin Ternenge Poor

Kelvin, a Human Resources post graduate student at Conestoga College in Canada, is a dedicated individual who has identified ways to actively contribute to society using his background and experiences. He is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture and works closely with the TVF leadership team to develop and implement programs that promote member engagement. Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology and understands how a lack of resources can negatively impact a community. He presided over the Nigerian General Elections as one of the collation officers for the Federal Government in 2015 as he strongly believes in change. On a personal note, Kelvin is a soccer enthusiast and has strong ties with the Calgary soccer community. He actively plays throughout the year and obsessively follows the major professional leagues and competitions. He is also a chef who has liaised with Shakara & Style Ltd. in Nigeria to cook for charities such as UNICEF during their seminars and workshops. As an advocate for system change, he is committed to ensuring that the communities we serve are safe and have access to basic human needs.

Project Manager

Douglas Azasu

Born and raised in Ghana, Douglas Azasu, our esteemed Project Manager, currently resides and works in the UAE. Based on his personal encounter with life and his understanding of the importance of education, it is his desire to be a part of the cause of transforming communities around the globe through education. He served passionately with AFS/IEP Ghana as a student representative for the organization, where he inspired the less privileged in the society and contributed immensely to social change. To the best of his ability, he strives to put smiles on the faces of both the young and the old in our communities while ensuring the less privileged are not discouraged but positioned at a place of hope where their dreams can become a reality. He is dedicated to the cause of positively impacting the lives of others.

Kennedy Boamah, a devoted Pastor at Wonderful Jesus Power Ministry in Ablekuma, is not only a spiritual guide but a passionate advocate for community welfare. Born with a heart eager to assist others, Kennedy's journey in service has taken him to remarkable places. Kennedy channels his commitment into practical initiatives that bring about positive change. His role involves overseeing various community projects, ensuring that the foundation's mission of transforming lives is fulfilled. Kennedy's journey is not just a professional endeavor; it's a reflection of his unwavering commitment to helping others. His compassionate approach and hands-on involvement in community projects have earned him the respect and admiration of those he serves.
